What is this meeting about?
In the field of HRM, both in practice and in science, the term inclusive leadership is popping up more and more often. Inclusive leadership is about striking the right balance between attention to the team and attention to the individual. So an inclusive leader creates an environment where everyone's unique contributions are valued and team members feel connected to the team. However, this comes with challenges. After all, how do you create an environment in which you simultaneously pursue team goals but also give each individual enough space? Diversity in teams is also often accompanied by prejudices that need to be broken.
A key question for HR is how to support inclusive leadership in organizations. What skills does inclusive leadership require? What are facilitating and inhibiting factors? How can you shape that as HR? What does inclusive leadership require from HR?
During this interactive workshop we will delve deeper into inclusive leadership (what does it mean? What factors play a role?), but we will also use (improvisational theater-based) exercises and discussion to get a better handle on what inclusive leadership entails and what skills are important in this regard.
