What is this meeting about?

The arrival of a new generation of professionals brings fresh energy, but also new questions. During this interactive spa session, we will dive into one central question together:

In a technical or manufacturing environment, how do you deal with the expectations and needs of practically educated young people (Gen Z) when the work offers less flexibility than office jobs? What approaches work really well for you?

No doubt we all recognize the stresses that recur regularly in our production environments:

Flexibility vs. shifts and fixed production scheduling
Rapid development vs. craftsmanship that takes time to learn
Need for meaning vs. routine work
During the session, Ginette Hafkamp of Royal Smit Transformers will share what they are up against with regard to these tensions and how it affects their absenteeism rates. Based on propositions, we will then search together for interventions that really work. What changes can we make in production environments without compromising safety, planning and quality?

This session is not a presentation but a real think sprint: recognition, exchange of practical examples and new ideas that you can use tomorrow. We expect this session to be particularly interesting for HR BPs or absence specialists in a production environment (small or large).
