Highberg’s recent study among 1,588 employees in the Netherlands revealed that 77% support greater pay transparency, yet only 45% understand how pay is determined in their organisation and 30% believe people doing comparable work are not always paid equally.
This shows that simple reporting processes are not enough. Clear communication, transparent reward frameworks, and employee trust will be critical for a successful implementation.
