What is this meeting about?

In response to various questions from our C&B communities, we have compiled a survey. With this survey we make an inventory of the level of compensation and to what extent the annual increases and adjustments of these (fiscally net) compensations affect the terms of employment or result in adjustments to them.

The focus of this survey is limited to:
- intended changes relating to commuting, business travel and home office allowances
- and relates only to the Netherlands

We kindly request that you complete the survey and participate in the session. It will take about 10 minutes to complete this survey.

Key take-aways:

The annual Quick Survey and Rumbold session on mobility showed that organizations are in the midst of reviewing their policies around commuting, working from home and sustainability. Trends such as shifting to actual mileage, increasing home-work reimbursements and an increased focus on CO₂ registration dominate the discussion. Automation and compliance remain a pressing concern.

Key insights:
  • Reimbursements shift to actual mileage – Fiscal frameworks remain governing, but flexibility grows.
  • Work-at-home policy changes – Fewer work-at-home days, higher compensation.
  • Automation is critical – Only 30% fully automated; WPM compliance requires action.
  • Sustainability gets more weight – Additional incentives for bicycle/OV and revision of leasing policy.
  • Lease cars under pressure – Pseudo final tax and changing preferences call for new policy.
