We are thrilled to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the successful partnership with Montae & Partners, a collaboration dedicated to empowering HR professionals as they navigate the intricacies of pension transition in the Netherlands. This alliance has significantly enhanced the our way of working, promoting peer-to-peer networking and fostering an environment where expertise is freely shared, complemented by the extensive knowledge and insights of our expert partners.

Over the past five years, Montae & Partners have been instrumental in shaping our approach to the Dutch pension redesign. We’ve conducted over 30 focused meetings, with approximately half featuring invaluable contributions from experts like Ton Winkels, Ramona van Wijk – van der Schoot, and Victor Steenbakker. These sessions have not only deepened our understanding of pension reform but also provided an “outside-in” perspective, exemplified by the influential Pension Barometer – a true co-creation among peers and experts, now in its fourth iteration.

Our journey has been enriched by insights from a diverse array of companies, including Budget Thuis, Refresco, Building Material Europe, VanderLande, Den Hartogh, CM.com, Eastman, Robeco, and Ericsson. These organizations have generously shared their experiences and strategies, sparking meaningful discussions and providing inspiration, validation, and direction for those still navigating their pension transition journey.

Last week marked a significant milestone in our ongoing collaboration. We co-hosted a pivotal event that brought together a diverse group of peers to address common and specific challenges in the Dutch pension transition. Ton and Victor from Montae & Partners presented the latest “Pensioen Barometer” results, followed by an engaging panel discussion featuring four peers who are at the forefront of this co-creation process. This collaborative approach demonstrated by these companies in the pension redesign process serves as a beacon of inspiration, showcasing the power of shared knowledge and collective effort in driving meaningful change.

We take pride in facilitating this co-creation process and extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their invaluable contributions. As we look to the future, we remain committed to providing such collaborative approach and support through the implementation of the Wet Toekomst Pensioenen (Dutch Future of Pensions Act).

Our partnership with Montae & Partners continues to be a cornerstone in our mission to deliver comprehensive, innovative solutions to the complex challenges of pension reform to and with our HR membership and beyond.
